



From Edinburgh follow signs to the M90, via the Forth Road Bridge. (The easiest way is via the M8, exit at Junction 2 and take the turn for the M9. At Junction 1A on the M9, follow signs for the Forth Road Bridge and the M90)
Proceed north on M90 until Junction 9, exit here and turn right onto the A912. It is 7 miles to Newburgh. At the first small roundabout take the A913 left, and then follow signs to Newburgh (through Aberargie and Abernethy). Drive all the way through Newburgh High St, then at edge of Newburgh, turn left into Abbey Road (just before Abbey Garage). Parkhill Steading is on the left just after the ruins of Lindores Abbey.
From Glasgow, take the M8 east to Junction 2, east of Edinburgh. Exit left, and then follow the signs for the M90, via the Forth Road Bridge. Once on the M90 instructions are as above.
From Dundee take the A90 west to Perth, where the road becomes the M90. Exit at Junction 9, the first exit south of Perth, and turn left onto the A912, then left again, onto the A913 to Newburgh, as described above.
From Northern Scotland it is best to head for Perth (meeting place of the A85, A9, A90 and A93) At the Broxburn Roundabout (South of Perth) take the exit for the M90. Head south, following the M90 signs, and once on the motorway take the first exit, which is Junction 9. Turn left onto the A912 and follow directions above.

Proceed north on M90 until Junction 7, exit here turning left onto the A91. It is 11 miles to Dollar. In Dollar take the second right, up the side of the Burn/Stream, and turn right. A short distance up the hill, Hillfoots Cottage is tucked away on the left.
From Glasgow, the simplest way (though perhaps a little longer) is to take the M8 to Junction 2 east of Edinburgh. Head north, following signs for the M90, via the Forth Road Bridge. Once on the M90 follow the instructions above.
It is possible to reach Dollar from Glasgow following the M8, the M80, the M876, the M9, to the A876 where you cross the Kincardine or the Clackmannanshire Bridges, and take the A977, until signs for Dollar take you left onto the B913, into Dollar.
From Northern Scotland it is best to head for Perth (meeting place of the A85, A9, A90 and A93) At the Broxburn Roundabout (South of Perth) take the exit for the M90. Head south, following the M90 signs. Exit at Junction 7 (Milnathort), turn right onto the A91 and follow signs for Dollar (11miles)
