Newburgh is in close reach of Perth, Dundee, Edinburgh, Stirling and St Andrews with their myriad opportunities for cultural experiences and shopping. Perth, less than half and hour away, has a magnificent concert hall, a theatre, museums and cinema and quirky shops. The ancient town St Andrews has a myriad of high quality shops, restaurants and seaside facilities. Dundee a bustling metropolis has museums, the contemporary arts theatre, several art galleries and a rich maritime history including HMS discovery.

An hour away is Edinburgh with its world famous August arts festivals, its magnificent castle and the wonderful theatres, galleries, architecture and restaurants. Travelling south west the city of Stirling is place of mystery and ancient history with its towering castle and the famous Wallace monument.

Closer to home are the facilities of Newburgh where the Twist Fibre Craft Studio host workshops in spinning, weaving and knitting run by internationally renowned practitioners. The Steeple Arts centre, with its artist studios, holds regular exhibitions, and The Sun Gallery shop displays and sells a wide range of superb art from distinguished Scottish artists.
