

Newburgh, and its many facilities, is walking distance from your holiday home. By car, you are there in minutes. It’s a bustling village with a bank, a Co-op, an off licence, a post office, a chemist, bakeries, a petrol station and a number of general stores. There is a florist, an ironmongers’, an excellent Art Gallery, a superb wool and craft studio, a specialist hat designer, and an antique shop. There are two cafés and a number of bars to choose from. Essentials
On the long historic High Street you’ll find all the shops you need for provisions. In the middle of the village is the Royal Bank of Scotland, with an external cash machine. Across the road, The Co-op, more than 100 years old, has an excellent selection of fresh vegetables and fruit, the normal household goods, and organic products.
Specialist Shops and Centres

Festivals and Markets
The annual Highland Games are held the third week of June. This includes the annual Double Handed Coble Boat Races, across the River Tay
