Getting there
From your holiday home you can reach Edinburgh by car or train, within an hour and a half. By car your journey is an hour and fifteen minutes. Parking is simpler if you use the Park and Ride facilities at the Ferrytoll Car Park, just before the Forth Road Bridge. Buses will deposit you in the centre of town.
To take the train you can use Cupar or Ladybank stations for hourly trains to Waverley Station, Edinburgh. You arrive in the centre, on Princes Street, giving you a special view of this unique city. www.nationalrail.co.uk

Towering above Princes Street is the Royal Mile of the medieval Old Town, with the magnificent Edinburgh Castle at one end and Holyrood Palace at the other. You are simply spoilt for choice in Edinburgh. Princes Street and its surroundings are only the beginning.
