Jamesfield Organic Farm and Restaurant is 9 minutes away by car. In a beautiful setting overlooking the duck ponds, the farm animals and the Tay, you can eat fabulous organic food cooked by renowned chefs. Or you can just have excellent coffee, organic cakes and sit reading the newspapers appreciating the wide-open view. There is an indoor and outdoor play area for children. The supermarket sells organic fruit, vegetables, groceries and wine.

The friendly Bite ‘N Blether café, High Street, Newburgh, provides a wide range of hot meals and snacks.

Close to your holiday properties in the villages near the Lomond Hills are a number of fine places to eat.

The Stag Inn, off the main square in Falkland, has oak beams and an open fire. The A La Carte menu offers a good choice of dishes from lunches (12-3pm) and evening meals (6-9pm) seven days a week.  01337 858327.

Luiginos, the square, Falkland is a genuine Italian restaurant, with pizza cooked in a wood fired oven and home made pasta. Serving 10am to 10pm Mon to Sat, and 10am to 8pm Sundays. 01337 857224.
