Our self-catering holiday homes are an excellent starting point for cyclists: whether you want short, beautiful routes with your family, or you are a keen mountain biker, or you are interested in longer touring routes mapped out in the Fife Cycle Ways Maps. In fact the Kingdom of Fife has 300 miles of cycle routes the length and breadth of the Kingdom, taking you through historic villages, ancient countryside, along the banks of the Tay or through the famous coastal villages.
In the hills behind the holiday homes, in Pitmedden Forest, are challenging mountain biking routes. The stunning cycle routes in the Tentsmuir Forest, at the mouth of the Tay, are 20 minutes away by road. Or you can begin cycling from your holiday property, and follow routes laid out in the Fife Cycle Way Maps for Howe of Fife West and Howe of Fife East.
The holiday properties are also a base for those who want to venture further afield and sample cycling on the Forest tracks of Perthshire, or the off road tracks of the hills and lochs.
